Making Your Own Caramel Sauce

I just love caramel. Whether as a candy or as a sauce, I love caramel. It’s my own personal chocolate – I just want to put it everywhere for as long as I can, and I can just consume it on its own. So I wanted a recipe for an easy-to-make creamy caramel sauce that I can store for future use. My aunt taught me, but she taught me how to make caramel syrup, not caramel sauce, so I had to go and find an easy recipe that I can work with.

Of course, like all dishes, I found an easy recipe. It’s simple: to make the creamy caramel sauce, just take a cup each of brown sugar, granulated sugar, and heavy cream, and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla. You combine everything in a saucepan, and heat and mix until the sugar dissolves very well into the mixture. You can store this caramel sauce in bottles or in whatever container you wish to place it. I haven’t tried placing it in the fridge though, so I would just have to say store it in room temperature just to be on the safe side. There you have your very own caramel sauce, I hope you like it and enjoy it as much as I do!
